We make custom-fit protective packaging for fragile, high-value equipment. Send us the geometry: a CAD file, or a photo and the outside dimensions. We design the insert, prove it to the drop spec you ship to, and send back a price.

Every box in this field is a real design the engine produced. None of it is a mockup.

Instruments, optics, medical devices. Expensive to build, and far too easy to damage in transit. We design the packaging that protects them, fitted to the exact part and cut to order. The design usually takes a few days.

From your part to a protected shipment.

    Capture

    Send a CAD file, STEP or STL. If the part was never modelled, its outside dimensions and a photo are enough to start.

  2. 02

    Engineer

    The engine chooses a material and works out the cushioning: how thick, how much bearing area, where the load travels. All of it computed from how the material behaves under impact.

  3. 03

    Validate

    The design is checked face by face against the drop spec you ship to. If it comes close to failing, we tell you where, and by how much.

  4. 04

    Deliver

    You get the design and a price. Approve it and we cut it in Copenhagen.

One cutting table, several materials.

Honeycomb, corrugated board, foam. All of it cuts on one CNC table: an oscillating knife for board and sheet, a router for the deeper cavities. So the material is a decision we make in software, not a tool we have to commit to. We pick the greenest one that does the job, in whatever construction the part needs.

The material palette

Kerbside recyclable Paper honeycomb The structural workhorse. High compressive strength, and it goes out with the paper recycling.
Kerbside recyclable Corrugated fibreboard Die-cut inserts that hug the contour of the part. The cheapest thing we make.
Recycled content Recycled-content foam Soft and conforming, for delicate surfaces. The recycled content also keeps you clear of most plastic-packaging taxes.
Recyclable Conventional foam When nothing greener survives the drop test: high-G parts, repeated drops, damp shipping lanes.

How the design is computed.

Cushioning comes out of the energy method, the same physics behind the cushion curves in the material handbooks. It is not a lookup table.
  • Solved against your drop spec. The cushioning comes from the material's measured behaviour under impact, at the mass and the height you actually ship at.
  • Every curve carries its source. The material data is digitised from published handbooks, and each design records which handbook it came from. You can go and check it yourself.
  • One nest, one price. The quote, the cut file and the parts list are all read off the same sheet layout. They cannot drift apart.

More foam — or loading it where it works best — lowers the G the product feels. The engine sizes each design to sit in that dip (marked), under the drop-spec target.

Questions people ask.

01 What do you need from me to start?

The geometry. A CAD file is ideal (STEP, IGES or STL), but outside dimensions and a photo will do if the part was never modelled. Nothing physical has to ship.

02 What is the smallest order you take?

One. There's no tool to pay off first, so a single unit is a perfectly normal order. Small runs are the whole point of cutting instead of moulding.

03 How long does it take?

A design in a few days. The parts follow once we cut them. No waiting weeks for a mould.

04 How is it priced?

From the material the design uses (whole sheets, offcuts included) and the time on the machine to cut it. You see the price with the design, before committing to anything.

05 Who owns the design, and is my file safe?

You do, and it stays yours. We'll sign your NDA before you send anything, and we don't reuse anyone's geometry.

06 Can you handle ESD, cleanroom or temperature needs?

Yes. ESD-safe foam, a service-temperature range, returnable systems: all of it is part of the spec. Tell us the constraint and we design to it.

07 Do you ship outside Denmark?

Yes, across Europe. Protective packaging is bulky and cheap by the kilo, so it's made close to where it's used. That keeps the lead time short.

Have something fragile to ship?

The self-serve site isn't open yet, so for now we take projects one at a time. Send the geometry and we'll design the protection, check it against your drop spec, and walk you through it. The price comes with it.
